PETE LIEBENGOOD
PRESIDENT
Pete Liebengood has one of the widest ranging resumes in broadcasting. In nearly four decades of work in the industry he has won multiple national and local awards for his work as the following: a sports anchor/reporter, sports play-by-play announcer (ESPN, NBC), sports radio talk show host, news anchor/reporter, executive producer, producer, and production company operator, where he learned editing, lighting, and shooting.
A few years back, had someone told me I was being converted to a VJ, I would have said something like, “You want me to do what?” Actually, I probably would have screamed it and quite possibly added a few other choice words. I understand the resistance to the VJ model. I also understand why it is suddenly in the broadcast mix. Because it is being adopted and because of my background I feel ordained to see that conversion to this model is done professionally and more important, correctly. To that end I have assembled a pool of trainers whose experience and abilities are off the charts.
